Block 7 Drilling Pad Development Project,
Char Kajal, Bangladesh
Client: Chevron Bangladesh Ltd.
Duration: December 2009- October 2010
In this project, we conducted a thorough site reconnaissance and
topographic survey, followed by a detailed geotechnical study. Our
civil and structural design services included the development of an
inland jetty, heavy crane dock, drilling pad mat foundations, and
various protective structures. Notably, we developed a unique jetty
design utilizing surplus materials from the client, significantly
reducing time and costs.
BYSP West Dike Project, Bibiyana Gas Field,
Bangladesh
Client: Chevron Bangladesh Ltd.
Duration: February 2009- March 2009
This project involved a comprehensive geotechnical investigation and forensic study of failed slopes. Our services included seismic
slope stability analysis, liquefaction analysis, and the design of a
pile-supported retaining wall. We also developed long-term
groundwater monitoring strategies and provided detailed cost
estimates for remedial measures.
Chevron North Pad Project, Bangladesh.
Client: Chevron Bangladesh Ltd.
Duration: November 2009- August 2010
For this project, we conducted a site reconnaissance and
preliminary study, collaborating with Chevron US Contractor
Worley to evaluate erosion processes along the Kushiyara River.
Our team issued a preliminary report detailing initial
evaluations, options for remedial measures, preliminary
riverbank protection design and cost estimates. We also
defined the scope for additional site surveys and hydraulic
engineering analysis.
Primary and Secondary Data Collection &
Geotechnical Study – Chevron North Pad Project
Client: Chevron Bangladesh Ltd.
Duration: May 2009- October 2009
In this project, we performed a comprehensive geotechnical
investigation, including river boring and topographic surveys. Our
analysis included detailed slope stability assessments and
recommendations for permanent riverbank slope protection. We
assisted the design team with material sources and provided local
design input to ensure project success.
Mozambique LNG Project
Offshore Mozambique
Client: TechnipFMC
Duration: July 2022- Present
For this multibillion dollar offshore gas field development
project, APS has been providing detailed geotechnical and
foundation design services including:
Geotechnical design for subsea and pipeline structures such
as mudmats, piles, hybrid foundation, suction piles
Seismic foundation design including liquefaction risk
assessment and mitigation design, 2D site response analysis
Scour risk assessment and protection measure design
Pile drivability analysis
Foundation design optimization
Drag anchor impact assessment study
Northern Endurance Project
North Sea, UK
Client: Technip Energies
Duration: October 2022- April 2023
In this carbon capture and gas development project, we
conducted geohazard impact assessment for the proposed gas trunklines and
associated manifolds due to mobile seabed. We performed detailed
pipeline scour assessment along geologically variable pipeline routes
under harsh metocean conditions, estimate allowable pipeline
freespan due to scour, recommend location-specific scour mitigation
measures.
